| not sure how many people like this franchise i think past the 3rd movie pointless had some good bits but not enough anyway they are doing a game based on the movies i'm interested in it more now i know that Originally developed by Brash Entertainment, the company had ceased all operations, allowing Konami to pick up the publishing and developing rights for the game
below is the teaser trailer and in the next post a developer Interview video that tells you everthing you need to know about the game so i don't have to spend time typing anything out

| I like the films but i'm worried about the fact I can smell a Quick Time Event (You know, press X to not die, don't press X to die) on a developers notepad somewhere, which are as overused as jumped up american space marines in FPS games. I hope there aren't any QTE but has anybody thought that a good way to recreate the films if there are is to smash the disc into little pieces and shove them up your rectum? Either way it's a win win, I guess | |

| they are a very small part mixed within the game it was going to be a lot more before Konami took over i think it's all in one of the videos but you might as well stay in the past with the first few games you got gamer as QTE will and always will be used in games i don't like them that much either but it depends what is wrapped around the QTE that needs to be good and how often it is used i would say stay away from heavy rain and GOW3 to name a few
you always seem quick to dismiss a lot of games for one reason or another maybe your are just picky or stubborn and one time you might miss out on a real gem of a game because of it
you might like shoving things up your arse but i don't so knock yourself out by doing that as i'm sure you will from the pain

| It's not that I don't like QTE but sometimes they put 6 or so in an everchanging sequence that offers not a lot of time to react, it's not fun to watch the same cutscene 5 times over trying to match button presses. It seems to me that there's less games about, but i'm more critical of what I buy (which I don't mind because that means more money). Also, I think I can count the number of decent film tie in games / film based games on one hand, so i'm allways sceptical about these. | |

| i agree with you there i don't like them but i don't mind them bing in a game if not over used like in RE5 that got boring very fast
i also agree with money being tight you have to look out for the right game i have a system i use every game fits into one of these
1.a game i will buy - looks good sounds good think it will be worth the money 2.rent a game - same as above just don't think it's worth the money to buy 3.not going to play it what so ever - these include football and racing games (i will play them but not rent or buy them) and stuff like Hannah Montana, buzz and singstar ect
with the whole film to game tie a lot do suck i do tend to stay away from these but i think people are saying wanted is good and the demo was not that bad so i'll give that a rent but when it comes to films made from games DOOM is the only one i can think of right now that was any good a lot have been made and ruined by uwn boll but i'm still holding out hope

| I like the last few games mentioned singstar etc, basically nothing that's gay then. I buy a game based partly on the developer history, the series itself, reccomendations from friends and critics and good old fashioned hype (I can smell out the 'naff hype, you see). | |

| i'm interested in this but need to see more footage first, if they done it so you play saw design your own traps and set people up, maybe even buy a warehouse pick someone to help you build and then stalk hte people you want to kidnap htat would be so cool.
but it wont be like that so i will wait until i see more about the game.

| e.t was your last film?, no comedy romance thrillers no films at all, or no horror ones?.
more of a think tank, sell ideas to companys on how to make games better

| a horror movie is there to horrify you and i think too few films do that now days i agree that horror films are not to everyones taste and especially the one's people refer to as violent/gore/horror porn and these people have the right mind to avoid these said films but if i hear about a film where the killer is putting people in traps that they might not be able to get out of i expect to see blood and gore
watching a horror movie without any violence/blood or gore is like watching a porn film with no penetration or a comedy with out any punchlines
maybe i come from a generation that has been desensitized by it all but i also come from a generation where the media would blame such movies and games for the violance and downfall thats already present in our everyday society
also from what i have seen and heard so far this game cuts away from any disturbing images so might be alright for most people
