| Rainbow six is simply brilliant, but the second promises to be even better. In rainbow games tactics ALLWAYS win against gung ho guys. Less room for campers too, if you stay still for too long you come up on the enemys map. R6V2 has the best cover system ever, press L1 and you hug the nearest bit of cover available. It would be a great place for the legion, flanking enemies withut their UAV pooping up, no hiding under a roof until the airstrike leave, no bloody helicopter catching you when you stand INSIDE a building. A seriously balanced set of realistic weapons. My clan on R6V was great, but we missed one thing, plenty of like minded tacticians, play team survival (think S&D minus the bomb) means you get seasoned vets playing rather thatn run and gun n00bs. The updated VIP looks good too, the leader and his team have to fight towards the other side of the level while the enemy do the same, in short get it! the last games lobby system was much better than cods, MARCH 21st! GET IT! | |

| Just learnt some new stuff: :If you stay still for too long you pop up on the enemys map (pack that tent away :XP can also be gained offline as well as online - 1XP is rewarded for a headshot, 40,000XP gets you top rank : VIP works like this, rules are: 1.) If the VIP kills you you do not respawn 2.) If a escort kills an enemy the enemy will respawn 3.) Only the VIPS know where each other are 4.) Both teams have a VIP and try to escort him/her to the extraction point. 5.) winner is the first to reach extraction or kill enemy VIP |

| Sounds interesting, I never got the first one and will probably only get this one if it reviews are in the 90%+ region. I'm put off by the fact they feel the need to put "Tom Clancy's" in the title :-/ Also, is it a FPS? I just watched a trailer and it seems to change between first and third (second) person. With Haze (hopefully) coming out soon, MGS4 and Resistance 2 this year I'm not sure I can afford another shooting game. (Plus, I'm still playing Warhawk!)
Having said that I do like the sound of the more tactical side of things. I also like the sound of some of the modes. I never played the first one (I did, however, once own a rainbow six game on the Gameboy Advance!) And think I'll wait and see what reviews/people think, a demo would also help. But for now I'm happy with CoD4. | |

| it is a fps, but when you get behing cover (L1) it changes to 3rd person. This is extremly useful because you can see how much of your body is hidden, about 5 rounds to the knee could kill you in rainbow six so you have to be careful. Tom clancys might be in the name but everything on the net is shortened, in fact the first one wasn't called "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas" even in my magazine, and i bet this will beat Haze hands down. The new modes do look awsome, there used to be one called retrival which was immensly fun, but could be tactical too. You had to get a canister from the middle of the map, take it home and deposit it. The tactical element was that we would arrange for these games with other clans, one guy would have heavy armour and would get in first and kill the enemies, followed by the guy with light armour who would grab the canister and be met by me at the otherside of a map, with a shield. We would back up together with my sheild up while the heavy went back inside to kill campers | |

| PS: My magazine gave it 8/10. A lot of it because the story wasnt brilliant and it was set in vegas again. But the story doesnt bother me too much cos i think its all about the locales. Its gonna be set in the grittier side of Vegas, with a residential area and part of the Nevada desert. they say "its well worth a return" so if u played the first one it will be all new, so it wont feel a bit samey as the last one. Id pay £45 just for the camper killing! | |

| I rented this from blockbusters, and as far think that Blockbuster have got the better deal from my £5.95 for 7 nights. The online play does't work basically, the story is good yeah, and i like the ACES system also. However with the fact that the longevity of the game isn't there, i simply can't give it a good review at the moment. When i get back from my camping trip, i hope there will be a patch, then i'll re-rent it and have fun p.s.) i realise the irony of me going on a CAMPING trip. | |

| It is pretty much fixed now. Every single lobby I join goes for at least an hour (which cant be said for COD), sometimes up to 3hrs. Still don't like playing TDM ( still a bit laggy) yet Terrorist hunt (You and your mates vs. loads of terrorists) works great. It's pretty chilled as well but gets mega tense when your the last one left vs the last terrorist. (Think of the embarrasment if u cant beat a thug!) They have a knack of sneaking up on you though) | |

| Was looking at r6v2 today, or shall i say yesterday as it its 2:30 am. To me the game looked awesome, but ive never really liked tom clancy games. I am in two minds whether to get it or not, or keep my money to go towards a new gfx card for my pc. Oh the choices in life you have to make ehh. | |

| Annoyingly every room seems to be filled with laggy yanks so i'm waiting 4 more EU players to get it. o yea, there was this guy annoying me and this kid so I stood on top of the ladder as he tried to get up, he got to the top, fell, climbed up again, fell, did it once more, ran out and got merced in the street, wat a idiot! | |

| My god they had so long to make this sequel and they came up with that!!! played it for a couple of hours and went back to COD4! Dont get me wrong I loved the first game but this is poor. I was excited to hear of a run option till I used it for the brief few seconds it works to realise it is sooo slow compared to COD4 GUTTED........ It is a good game in its own right and more tactical than COD but in comparison it fails miserably.... AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THOSE F^*KING PISS POOR TEXTURES!!!the PS2 could handle those graphics... where is my long awaited NEXT GEN title!?!?......... .....where?.......WHERE GOD DAMMIT!?!?!........ANSWER ME YOU F......... ....gibber......sob....whimper...bastards.....£40.....f^*kers....... | |
